Biden: Well, he's got that going for him, which is nice

The senior senator from my home state, Joseph Biden, stood out yesterday as the only Democratic candidate to support the Supreme Court's ruling that the 2003 congressional ban on some late-term abortions is constitutional.

This, for good reason: Biden is "the only Democratic presidential candidate who was in the Senate in 2003 to vote in favor of the bill banning so-called partial-birth abortions." As noted by The Hill newspaper.

He never said he supported it. Try quoting something next time.

Biden voted in favor of the bill, as did Harry Reid. I haven't heard anything from Biden on the decision. Reid said that "a lot of us" opposed it and gave the reason. It's funny that he said it that way given that he's not one of the "a lot of us", judging by his prior vote.

Anonymous: You are correct in that Biden has not been available for comment on the recent ruling; however, as Jeremy stated Sen. Biden did vote for it. Sorry if my post was misleading.

I'm watching the debate on MSNBC right now, and Biden does not agree with the language in the ruling, and he is for Roe v. Wade. He will not support the Right to Life if elected. Just thought I'd make that update.
